A/Prof Paul Schneider
Paul Schneider received his dental education at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 1970. He obtained a Masters degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Minnesota in 1977, and was Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for 2 years before moving to New Orleans for the Louisiana State University Orthodontic Program. He was registered as a specialist orthodontist in Australia in 1983, and since then has been in private practice and teaching at various universities around the world. He has been Associate Professor and Convenor of Postgraduate Orthodontics at the University of Melbourne since 2011.
In that time, 42 students have obtained their DCD degrees. Many studies have been published in top journals. Successful research collaborations have been initiated with universities in USA, Italy, and Japan. He has experience with autotransplantation for 30 years.
