Prof Michael Woods
Michael Woods has Bachelor, Masters and Research Doctorate degrees from the University of Melbourne, a Certificate of Specialty from the University of Oklahoma and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also a full member of the Edward H Angle Society. He has received Distinguished Service Awards from both the Australian Society of Orthodontists and the ADA (Victorian Branch), as well as the ASO’s PR Begg Research Award. He was the Inaugural Professor and Chair of Orthodontics at the University of Melbourne and has been a consultant to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for more than 30 years – presenting widely around the world and making more than 100 contributions to the literature.
