Dr Sanjivan Kandasamy
Dr Sanjivan Kandasamy is a specialist orthodontist who completed his dental degree at the University of Western Australia, his orthodontic training at the University of Melbourne followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at Saint Louis University, USA.
Dr Sanjivan Kandasamy is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at Saint Louis University and Clinical Associate Professor at UWA. He is an Affiliate member of the Angle Society, USA.
He is the Deputy Editor of the Australian Orthodontic Journal and the first Australian to become an Associate Editor for the American Journal for Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He is also on the Editorial Board of Seminars in Orthodontics.
He received the PR Begg award for his research in to TMD and orthodontics in 2016. He has published numerous articles in the peer reviewed literature as well as eight textbook chapters. He published the first ever textbook on TMD and Orthodontics in 2015. It is available in English, Chinese and Russian.
He lectures regularly both nationally and internationally. He has been in specialist private orthodontic practice for 19 years.
